CIVIL ENGINEERING

Message from HOD’s Desk-
Welcome to the Civil Engineering Department of BCOE. The department has been established in 2017 and is keen on giving quality education to aspiring Civil Engineers with a practical approach through adequate infrastructure.
Our Laboratories have been very well established not only to cover the complete syllabus but to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus which definitely develops complete knowledge of the subject. This course is the perfect combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Apart from academic learning, the students participate in various activities and events throughout the academic year, which contributes to their holistic development. All the students undergo a summer internship program, allowing them to explore and experience corporate work life. The department has young and dynamic faculties who actively take interest in research and are actively involved in all the events organization committees.
We are confident that in years to come the Civil Engineering department with its rigorous efforts, well-established processes, innovative teaching-learning practices, and active participation with industry will enforce the reputation of the department as well as the institute as an enviable seat of higher learning.

Vision:

Our vision is to provide an ambient under this program which will foster the students so that these students can take effective participation in building and development of our nation.

Mission

  • Our aim is to develop a learning process which will enable students to become strong in their fundamental concepts.
  • To create an atmosphere which will develop students as a professional, ethical and wise civilians who eventually add to nation’s glory and wealth.
  • To motivate students to become entrepreneurs by introducing them to various industrial programs.
  • To create a culture of innovation.
