HOD Message:

Delighted to welcome you to the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Bharat college of engineering was established in 2010. It offers 4 years degree course with an approved intake capacity of 120 students. Intake capacity is reduced to 60 in academic year 2017-18. The undergraduate (UG) course is regularly updated by the University of Mumbai to cope up with the ever-changing technology and demands of the industry.
Our Department regularly conduct training programmes, workshops, and seminars for benefit of teaching, supporting staff and students.
It has highly qualified faculty. The average experience of faculty is greater than 10 years. The department has excellent infrastructure with 10 laboratories. It includes facilities like spectrum Analyzer, Mobile Handset Trainer, & Xilinx VHDL Synthesis and Simulation software VLSI CPLD/FPGA kits, MATLAB  & its toolboxes, Fiber optical communication kits, Antenna laboratory, Micro-controller kits, etc.

Our goal is to provide the requisite platform to budding engineers and technocrats to sharpen their reasoning, analytical and communication skills along with requisite technical knowledge so that they can face the future challenges of growing technology with confidence.
The Four year B.E. program started since inception, builds strong foundations in all traditional areas of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. The academic curriculum being Credit Based & Choice-based promotes independent thinking and learning at an individual’s pace. The department strives to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities to our UG students where they bring their project and research ideas to practical applications.

Dear Prospective Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers,

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is one of the largest and fastest growing fields of engineering in India. It is the most sophisticated branch of engineering which focused on the study of Electronic devices like diodes, transistors, MOSFET, Op-amps etc. and various principles and practical aspects related to design and development of Electronics and communication systems.

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics and Telecommunication is a 4-year program. The curriculum of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in Mumbai University is designed in such a way to incorporate the requirements of various industries. one can opt an elective subjects of his/her choice like Microelectronics, Data compression and Encryption, TV and Video Engineering, Digital VLSI Engineering, Radar Engineering, Speech Processing etc.

The electronics industry is growing very fast and is creating good job opportunities in areas such as research, design and development, manufacturing, sales & marketing, maintenance and repairing of electronics equipment

A post-graduate degree will improve job prospects further. For in-depth knowledge, students can pursue M.Tech, MS or ME in various fields such as VLSI Design, Microwave Engineering, Integrated Circuits, Embedded System, Nanotechnology and Microelectronics and so on.
