  • Dear Library Patrons (Teachers and Students),Welcome to the BCOE Library. The library is spread over a 415 Sqm.area with a reference books, encyclopedias, magazines, journals and newspapers. You are requested to make the optimum use of these tools, increase your presence in library virtually and physically and suggest us what are your further needs. Each individual has the ‘Right to information’ and our library tries to do its best by satisfying the hunger for information.

Library is open between 9.30Am to 4.45pm

  • Every student must wear his/her valid identity card/ library card at the entrance of the library and reading room.
  • Students are allowed to issue 2 books for the period of seven days from the library by library card at the issue counter.
  • Each book will be issued for the period of seven days after that they have to return it or renew it.
  • Renewal process will depend on the availability of the book on the stack.
  • Students have to pay late fee if they don’t return/ renew the book in time.
  • Fine will be charged @ Rs.5/- per day per book after seven days.
  • Students can refer the book in the library during library hours by submitting I Card . Students have to return the books on the same day otherwise Rs.20/- per day fine will be charged.
  • For book damage , fine will be charged @10% of the book cost.
  • In case of book loss, student have to replace the book of the same author and latest edition or will have to pay one half times the cost.
  • In case of loss of library card , student have to pay Rs.20/- for issuing new library card.
  • Silence shall be strictly maintained inside the library.
  • User can convey any suggestions /complain through suggestion box kept in the library.
  • Use of mobile Strictly prohibited in the library, Faling which fine of Rs. 100/- will be charged.

For smooth functioning of library and development of library an advisory committee has been formed. Different issues of library are discussed in the regular meetings.

2)  Swayam :

 

SWAYAM platform facilitates hosting of all the courses, taught in classrooms from Class 9 till post- graduation to be accessed by anyone, anywhere at any time. All the courses are interactive, prepared by the best teachers in the country and are available, free of cost to any learner. More than 1,000 specially chosen faculty and teachers from across the country have participated in preparing these courses.

3)  E pg Pathshala:

 

e-PG Pathshala hosts high quality, curriculum-based, interactive e-content containing 23,000 modules (e-text and video) in 70 Post Graduate disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts and humanities, natural & mathematical sciences.

4)  NDLI:

 

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT).

5)  DOAJ ( Direectory of Open Access Journals) :

 

DOAJ is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals.

6)  DOAB ( Directory of Open Access Books)

 

DOAB is a community-driven discovery service that indexes and provides access to scholarly, peer- reviewed open access books and helps users to find trusted open access book publishers. All DOAB services are free of charge and all data is freely available.

7) SwayamPrabha :

 

The SWAYAM PRABHA is a group of 34 DTH channels devoted to telecasting of high-quality educational programmes on 24X7 basis using the GSAT-15 satellite. Every day, there will be new content for at least (4) hours which would be repeated 5 more times in a day, allowing the students to choose the time of their convenience. The channels are uplinked from BISAG, Gandhinagar. The contents are provided by NPTEL, IITs, UGC, CEC, IGNOU. The INFLIBNET Centre maintains the web portal.

8) NISCAIR Online Periodicals Repository:

 

You can now access full text articles from research journals published by CSIR-NIScPR! Full text facility is provided for all nineteen research journals viz. ALIS, AIR, BVAAP, IJBB, IJBT, IJCA, IJCB, IJCT, IJEB, IJEMS, IJFTR, IJMS, IJNPR, IJPAP, IJRSP, IJTK, JIPR, JSIR & JST. NOPR also

hosts three Popular Science Magazines viz. Science Reporter (SR), Vigyan Pragati (VP) & Science Ki Duniya (SKD) and a Natural Products Repository (NPARR).

9)  Indian Academy of Sciences

The main objective of promoting the progress and upholding the cause of science. publishes 10 science journals in different disciplines, uses an online submission and review management system that’s trackable, papers are peer reviewed and published content is made available online and open access.
